Deposit Schedule
A deposit of 40% of the facility fee is required within 30 days of the signing of the contract.

The balance of the facility fee, as well as all applicable taxes, is required 30 days prior to the event.

Cancellation
The Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre (SLCC) requires that all its clients advise the cancellation of an event in writing immediately. The cancellation penalty will be assessed as follows:

Less than 30 days	100% of facility rental fee
31-60 days	70% of facility rental fee
61-120 days	60% of facility rental fee
121-180 days	50% of facility rental fee
181 days or more	40 % of facility rental fee

Type of Payment
Payment may be made by certified bank draft, cashiers cheque, approved credit card or cash.

A 2% surcharge is applicable for credit card payments over $10,000.

Coat Check
Coat check is available for all events. Events over 300 people may be charged for additional coat check staffing.

Catering Partner
The SLCC is proud to have The Four Seasons Resort Whistler as our official and exclusive Catering Partner for all Food and Beverage events on the Centre property. Our clients are required to work only with the FSRW Catering team for all their food and beverage needs in our facility.

The Four Seasons Resort Whistler Chef and Catering team are committed to ensuring that your event is executed seamlessly. The team has developed exceptional menu offerings that highlight First Nations ingredients and traditional recipes at a variety of price points and range of set-ups. Classic menus and customized proposals are also available.

Confirmation of Event Details and Guarantee
The Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre requires final event set up details and confirmed guaranteed 3 weeks in advance.

Parking
Drive to Lorimer Road and, before approaching the Cultural Centre, turn right into Skiers Lot #4. The Centre is just east across the bridge from the parking lot. There is a designated loading and unloading area, several handicap parking spaces, and a passenger bus drop-off area.

Load In / Load Out
All display, decorations, equipment, and musicians must enter and exit the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre through the Loading Dock. Delivery and pick up times must be co-coordinated with the SLCC in advance. The SLCC will not be responsible for loss, breakage or damage to event rentals and décor arranged and delivered directly by the client.

Smoking
Please stipulate if you need a smoking area for your event. Smoking is not allowed in any indoor space; however, arrangements can be made for certain designated deck space areas if this is part of your venue rental space.

Noise Restrictions
Based on the Resort Municipality of Whistler by-laws, no amplified music or speech may be heard after 10 PM or before 8 AM.
