The black bear is a family member to both Squamish and Lil’wat people. It is found from the the valley floors to the alpine meadows in both territories.

The Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre has geared its programs and exhibits to suit the needs of tours and groups. Its flexible programs can fit a tight schedule; there is a tour bus drop-off with bus parking close by, and a café-like restaurant for large groups. Easy self guided activities, exhibits, and a multi-media film plus traditional art, song, dancing, drumming and food will delight visitors of all interests.
